2 days to go before bye bye to 2010

I have been trying hard to keep my promises
As a result, I have been working very hard
trying to make next year as significant as this year
so starting tomorrow I am on leave for this year

being back stabbed by your best friends is no fun at all
especially when you are not yet 14
it is hurtful even when you are 14,24,44,64 or 104

you hope one day they will suffer

true friends who are genuinely happy for you

then you forget the back stabbers
you feel no pain
it was just an unfortunate event
you smile and keep on living the life

some could dance gracefully
Some could sing beautifully
some could draw perfectly
others could cook delicious food
others could live dangerously

Some blessed souls know their talents from young
Others wait till their children left home to explore theirs
few stumbles on their given talents
Most are still mourning for their lack of talents...hahahaha

a klutz at dancing(so many steps to remember)
a danger in any kitchen
a menace to any children(i will tell stories of their parents)
i refuse to bungee jumping or ride any scary ride at theme parks
would yawn at any boring stories
i am that bad

Stealing wi-fi access

I am not a good neighbor
i could deal with that
at least the others could talk about me
at least I am popular
which is better than to be not noticed at all

Stealing wi-fi access is not okay in my book
you go to mosque
do all the deeds
be a good person
but when you switch on the computer
you ride on someone's wi-fi for free
which is good riddance for all your deeds

You don't steal other people's wi-fi
I know it's hard to prosecute a wi-fi stealer
Just like you don't steal other people's wives, husbands, children etc

But then again
in this era, you wonder one day why people are taking other people's things, belongings, wives, husbands etc
you realise in this world of all-can-be stolen
everything is there to be stolen




Just don't steal my wi-fi
Just steal the Starbuck wi-fi.....

i am sure i will be told by my siblings the real truth

The(ir) truth: i am totally bossy and difficult but we are family

so I was telling my nephew that he should marry well
choose the girl for the fortune
i am sure there are plenty of nice , pretty rich girls
of course my nephew looked at me as if I was senile
(he's in love with his dream girl..I was talking to a wrong nephew..phew)
i told my expensive niece the same thing
she has exquisite taste and her mom got to stop supporting her
either get a lucrative job or a rich hubby
luckily she's in Moscow rite now..studying and partying

love requires money
especially in the era of facebook
where everybody always has something more
be it cars, children, houses, holidays or friends
or something to prove
as all kinds of  reunions  being hold
be it kindergarten, primary, secondary, university or even living places being hold
it is hard to measure to all stages of life

How to justify to your kindergarten teacher that u are still taking the bus when the naughtiest student in Tadika Kemas Kg Lulu is driving the Merc?

If we are living in an honest world, you will tell me that this is crap
lucky for me, this is a superficial world
we don't go telling the truth
we don't steal the internet booster

Once again it was nerve-wrecking experience for the students and the parents
In the examination-oriented system of ours, we thrive on the results
Giddily we wait for the results
Hopefully we pray our beloved ones will get better results
We praise the brainy ones
We  pray for the average ones
We mourn for the lost ones

I did not belong to the first category
Most of the time ..I was in the second
and sometimes I was the one to be mourned
Not something to be comfy if you are surrounded by brainy lots
So I thrive on other people's success
 my sister.. she got all the As
She got the look and the brain ( she will read this ..and I will reap the benefits..hahahaha)
my niece ..she got first class for her degree
my cousins..they got PHDs
You get my drift....

When you realise you don't belong to the brainy lots
You realise you got to work harder
You got to work faster
You got to be better
You got the drive
You got the perseverance
You get up faster than everybody
You realise it ain't bad to be prayed for or mourned for
You smile and move on
After all tomorrow is another day

and you remember A , B , C , D or E are merely alphabets

and it tasted perfectly though it was her first attempt..

Nasi Ayam Tat Cawangan Jitra

I saw the new branch of Nasi Ayam Tat in Jitra last week.Today we ate there.we were pretty disappointed.the taste is the same but the ambiance is different. I prefer the one in Alor Setar , the one near Mergong.The restaurant in Mergong is cleaner and cheerier. The one is Jitra is less cleaner and gloomy.

How many times that we try to do the right thing but too lazy or too shy or too coward to do so as we fear for the other people's reactions?If you need the courage, try watching Saito San.She has the sense of right and would confront people if they would do wrong things which doesn't do well in our polite society.

I watched Gokusen Season 1, Season 2  & Season 3 and 2009 Special.What's so special about Gokusen? Great acting and entertaining..at least for me.The main character is a female teacher trying to make changes in her students' lives.This teacher is from a gangster family trying to make a difference in her students' life.

The story: 
A story about a single woman in her late thirties and an art scholar with a roving eye for young nubile girls who try to recover a national treasure(Thats what it said behind the dvd cover)


The story is faster than usual Korean series and the ability to detect the areas of the shooting scenes attract me to  be glued to the tv.Pretty entertaining .

Scoundrels

The series won't be continued to the next season.Too bad.I find the series funny and captivating which reminds me that a family is normal in an abnormal way.hehehehe.

The story is about how the family tries to reform themselves from being criminals to law-abiding citizens.

The series to watch

I love watching these series.If watch carefully, you could learn wisdoms of life.





Lie To me - The series teach me how to detect lies and deceits just through non-verbal language.Pretty handy to read people .




Castle - A rich and good-looking mystery writer and a beautiful detective. I like to see the loyalty of other detectives for Beckett.


The Mentalist - He could read people and he is a tortured hero.He is looking for the murderer of his wife and child.


The Deep End- reminds of my early days of working.Trying to impress a lot of people.

Korea Drama Series

Though I could do a lot of things while watching these Korean Movies, I do like to see beautiful people and scenery.


Prosecutor Princess - its funny.


One Mom & 3 Dads- I still haven't managed to watch all

I learn that nothing and no one stays the same.The only one that is permanent is change.

IRIS

When we were in Seoul, we stumbled a lot of pictures about this TV series, IRIS and  the television showed trailer of Iris the Movie.When we are in sunny Malaysia , we searched for the dvd and fortunately we managed to buy.The series is action pack with good acting and good script.The story about spy, North and South Korea, betrayal and spy action genre. Unfortunately I am too impatient for  Korean series.However it is good to recognise some places in the movie.I would recommend those who love Korean series to watch IRIS.

I am a procrastinator.....

I could unpack and put my battered suitcase in my store(till the next trip dear suitcase)

and I could eat and do lots of things..

I Heart Seoul

Just got back and trillions of work to do and the house is in the mess, the office is in the mess and being messy is the norm for me( for now.) Just got back from Seoul.I heart the city.I feel so safe in Seoul. Imagine you can put your bag down and left the bag in the public without worrying.Nobody wants your bag.The toilets are darn clean .
